In ASOS, he makes the comment that Tyrion has the right to bear the name of Lannister since Tywin can't prove that Tyrion isn't his son. Tyrion is also described as having blonde hair, but it isn't the traditional Lannister golden blonde. It's much paler. Then, there is his fascination with dragons when he was a young boy....

You've got to look at all of this from Tywin's perspective. He hates the fact Tyrion could be his son at all.

This could be true. I remember something about a dragon must be born of blood. If that's the case, Dany, Jon, and Tyrion most definitely fit the description since all "killed" their mothers in childbirth.
