Made my first lineup in awhile. Chase Anderson was the must play.

Chase Anderson
Gattis
Abreu
Pedroia
Arenado - against Kershaw in LA, but my Arenado love knows no bounds
Desmond at $2600
Trout
Adam Jones
Hanley

Ended up swapping Rasmus out for Yoenis.

Another solid placing in the Squeeze (55 points), but, yet again, pitching let me down.

Need to hit that pitching to make some big cash. Finished 3rd in 50/50, another winner.

Don't think I'll be able to play today; have softball state title game coverage going on all day

But, for others, the cheap start of the day is Jesse Chavez, IMO. I'd use him if I was playing.

Dear mrwiseguy,

Would you believe that Louisiana is one of five states in the entire nation where it's illegal to participate in a fantasy sports contest for money? That's right — any time that you pay an entry fee or receive a payout for winning your league or scoring the most points in a given week, you are breaking the law. HB 475 would give you the same rights that 40 million other Americans take for granted: The right to put your skills to the test and reap the benefits of your fantasy sports expertise.

Click here to tell your legislator to vote for HB 475 and free fantasy sports in Louisiana.

I had my best day of the season in large part due to Josh Harrison going off. I wound up with 72.41 points and would probably placed fairly high in some of the larger tournaments, but I have been playing three man leagues for the past three days to build up my reserves after a rough 4 or 5 days.

I will probably make another lineup with only the late slate because of weather concerns in for San Francisco/Cincinnati and I don't want to miss out on an opportunity to stack against Vogelsong.

I am picking on Sabathia today with Cain, Escobar, and Perez who all do well against lefties. Also I've got Springer, Valbuena, and Marisnick against Estrada.

P- Greinke
C- Perez
1B- Teixeira
2B- Paredes
SS- Escobar
3B- Valbuena
OF- Springer
OF- Cain
OF- Marisnick

72.41 points

You would have won some serious cash. You could have had your very own commercial.

Perez and Escobar aren't that expensive.

I'm gonna use them some today.

Yeh. That's exactly why you always enter a large tournament, just in case your lineup hits.

this week was just like last week.

good in the beginning and pretty horrible towards the end.

gonna start playing more $1 games I guess. The goal is only to try and win a few dollars per contest anyway. Might as well set the bar even lower.

I've been playing more 50/50's lately with good success. Those large tourney's almost feel like a damn sucker bet at the casino. I did have a friend hit one for 3 grand but I can't even fathom the odds of that with all the guys playing so many multiple entries.

they pretty much are.

my personal best was is football during Conference Championship weekend last year. I won $500 and my next best week I won $200. It was towards the end of the year, I want to say around Week 12? I've only been playing since around the beginning of last football season. They even have contests for college football in fantasy. For all I know, I may have already hit my personal best. The amount of entries will most definitely get larger as the years go on. More people will try and take a crack at it which means more money in the pot but also bigger odds.

when you look at some of there stats, its unreal. The user named balicore on Fan Duel has some ridiculous numbers. Once you strike it big one time, you can move a lot of money around in future games I'd imagine.

Fan Duel has a scoring system in baseball where you get penalized 0.25 points each time your player gets out. I'm talking about striking out or flying/grounding out at bat. If your guy gets caught stealing or something you don't. I don't know what Draft Kings is like but I'd imagine FanDuel's way would annoy some players.

Aren't there tournaments that don't allow multiple entries

I believe they do but I can't be sure if I've ever played in one. Maybe I did in one for CFB fantasy one time but I'm not 100% on that.

Yes. They usually have a much smaller pot because you have many less entries. So those people trying to strike it big probably won't find these attractive.

I just think you have to enter the huge tourney, just in case you hit it. That sets your entire bankroll up, and you should be essentially free-rolling from that point forward.

oh yes, I'm looking at the lobby right now. If the contest has the orange M circle on it that means its a multiple entry tournament.

if it does not then its only a single entry I guess

I have also had better success on DK than Fanduel. I guess being able to play 2 SP's adds a little more strategy.

I am not sure if you needed a Tweet telling you that Stanton hits a lot of homers.
