You lied to me! I saw a decent amount of improvement from both QBs today. I saw them work through their progressions and hit receivers in stride. It wasn't a perfect outing for either QB, but I feel like they're only going to get better between now and fall camp. WTF tRant? I thought y'all knew football better than anybody else. I feel cheated.

Just remember that we haven't played a game yet. I will wait to the second game to make a statement.

They had green jerseys on for Christ's sake. Harris looked like a world beater last spring game as well. What did that say for his season? Apparently Jennings always looks good in practice.

Do you have specific examples of people saying they couldnt improve? Or did you just make that up so you could make a stupid thread?

Also, its fricking practice.

You and I have different definitions of "hitting in stride".

AJ just doesn't do it. Even the widest open guys routinely have to wait on a late thrown ball.

I'm not saying he hasn't improved on reading or whatever, he couldn't get worse...but there is still something wrong with his timing and accuracy in a way that slows the receivers.

Jennings showed many flaws and limitations last season. Some of the main ones were:
- indecision
- confusion/hesitancy
- lack of confidence
- lack of accuracy
- lack of timing
- locked onto a single receiver
- inability to go through progressions
- unwillingness to throw with conviction (too many lobs)

And every single one of these can be addressed/improved through coaching and practice. It is up to him how much he can improve in these areas - to make himself into a better overall QB.

It's true he can't improve his arm strength - but that isn't a big deal anyway. His arm is strong enough to complete deep passes - he just needs to relax and sling it on the intermediate routes.
