This. The 2011 spring game was the worst offensive performance I have ever seen in a spring game. Having said that, it was nice to see the QBs make some plays. You can tell they are working on their play which is encouraging. That's about all I'm taking away.

How can you not be at least a little encouraged by both QBs finally using their safety valves? The LSU football team completed several forward passes to the tight end yesterday. Say that a few times to yourself so it can sink in. Even it it's just the spring game that shows a significantly improved understanding of the offense from both guys.

Agreed. No reason to get up or down over the results of the game. Like it or not, the test begins with our first game against a good opponent this upcoming season.
