I enjoyed Paris more. Went on a trip with my then gf, now wife.

My favorite museums were the Orsay and the Van Gogh museum (which is a little further out of the way). The Orsay had a lot of classical sculpture and their selection of paintings were also more to my taste than the more modern art paintings of the last hundred years (perhaps because I'm uneducated on most of those artists). The Van Gogh museum was nice because it did a good job of showing his development and changing styles. It gave me an understanding of what he was trying to accomplish and where his style came from... perhaps it would take a similar effort for many of the other modern artists before I really "get" or appreciate their work.

Provided the Ms is ok with the topless women the Moulin Rouge is also a very good show that really is more than a bunch of tits in your face. Les Invalides (Napoleon's tomb) is worth seeing and will really only take a couple of hours to appreciate fully - as i recall it was a fairly easy trip from the Effiel Tower.

Enjoy the little restaurants instead of going to higher price and big name restaurants that will charge you through the nose and not really please you any more.

We would both love to see the Eiffel Tower, especially at night, and various museums in Paris. London seems to have a ton of stuff as well but Paris seems to be winning since it is more "romantic" according to her
