Verne has been a workhorse for CBS over the years.
In 1990 he was the No. 2 NFL announcer and No. 2 NBA announcer for CBS. Throw in his CBB, CFB, Masters, and Olympic experience, and his resume is pretty amazing. And he was even spoofed on Saturday Night Live.
