Why does Hollywood and all yankees think exeryone in the south talks like they are from Marietta, George in 1885?
The fact that there are many types of Southern accents is of no interest to them. They regard the South as a place of tongue-speaking snakehandlers who lynch blacks, home school their children, and refuse to make wedding cakes for homosexual newlyweds.
