Long story short but between the 3 (2 veritas, 1 verdict) I had and my brother had 2 veritas they all broke. Every single one of them. The only rod I have ever had snap on a flounder, they next one snapped on the hook set of a bass, the verdict broke on redfish. Pure Fishing eventially sent me a Fenwick rod bc the Abu Garica's kept breaking.
Best combo for the money is a Lew's Tournament Speed Spool and H2O Ethos rod.
