Works for me. I have super tight muscles but I am super flexible which causes a lot of problems in my back and neck. I'm trying at Pilates right now as well.
You could try once or twice. I'm not sure what physical therapy would be like for a neck...Are you under a lot of stress?

went to one for lower back pain and he said my pelvis was out of alignment by 1/2 inch or so. After 3 months of adjustments he could not get it right so I have to wear a heel lift in my shoes. Been doing it about three weeks now. Pain is not 100% gone but getting there.
does it work? ask me in six months.

No, you aren't flexible with tight muscles. Your muscles, ligaments, and tendons determine flexibility.
