Serious question....how many guys go overseas, develop, and then actually make it back to the NBA?

Well I do know that Justin Hamilton did it and is currently on the roster at Minnesota so it is possible.

Hamilton
Brian Roberts
Hassan Whiteside
Brandon Jennings (in lieu of college)
Chris Douglas Roberts

It doesn't happen often and most of them become minimum salary guys for a year or two.

True but being in the Twolves roster right now means nothing. That roster couldnt beat the 1 seed in the D league. Hamilton wont be on that roster next year. thats my guess anyway. The Twolves are barely an NBA team right now

even chris johnson got a couple nba gigs after going overseas. there were teams trying to get bo mccalebb to come to the nba a couple years ago. some guys like nick calathes go over there and are icons.

he'll make more money overseas but i would bet he tries to go the summer league-camp invite-d league route first.
