Doesn't matter who declares early. At the end of the day he will go overseas.

Getting drafted 2nd round vs not getting drafted really isn't a big deal at all. There is no guaranteed money for 2nd round picks. No guaranteed roster spot. All that happens is one team get's rights to you before anyone else. Not the end of the world that he doesn't get drafted.

I disagree that it is not a big deal at all. Don't you think he would prefer to play in the nba? Assuming that answer is yes, being drafted as early as you can is very important.

I agree with you that he will likely end up playing overseas. But, I think it's crazy to say that it is of no importance whether he's drafted or not.

Serious question....how many guys go overseas, develop, and then actually make it back to the NBA?

I don't have stats but it just seems like you either get drafted and stick on a team....or you're stuck in D-League/overseas hell for your career.
