Gonna go with the 2500.
The 2500 and 3000 series are the same sized reel, only difference is the spool on the 3000 holds a little more line. If you have 3000's already, you could just get a 2500 series spool and switch when needed.
To really get a smaller reel than what you currently have, you would need to go with the 1000
