I have 2 huge pecan trees in my backyard
every time the wind blows I have a million fricking limbs all over my yard
not to mention that everyone expects you to give them 5 gallons of pecans every fall and then complain when they are not shelled

Salmon, just don't give them away. we tell our friends they can pick up from the front yard. when they do they realize how much work is involved from the pickup to having pecans to eat. The first year in the house I probably gave away 700 pounds at work, people just got them from a box or bag I brought in. Some complained they weren't pre-cracked. Last time I did that. We now sell them.
