Sad. So many young people who are supposedly "fit" encounter this. Call me crazy but I think all this extreme running is not the healthiest of activities.

I wouldn't call a half marathon "extreme"
if she had just run a 100 mile ultra, yeah thats one thing, but a half?
millions upon millions run halfs every weekend
she must have had some type of unknown heart defect
