bullshite. The tracks on side B sound completely different from those on side A.
And melody isn't the end-all-be-all when acknowledging complex or magnificent songwriting. Hell, death metal is some of the most complex music you will ever hear and the majority of it prior to the emergence of the Gothenburg Sound and late Death lacks any sort of melodic quality.

Pantera pretty much kept metal alive during the 90's when Metallica went on their sabbatical. I am glad Metallica have re-found their true roots over the last decade. Pantera still never gets the true respect it deserved. They were that good.
