Although each of those albums are classics, there are still quite a few fillers on each track. Plus, Iron Maiden's sound didn't really undergo a great deal of change or progression during that time.

Sad Wings of Destiny
Sin After Sin
Stained Class
Hellbent for Leather

The second and third Judas Priest records are phenomenal, but Stained Class and Hellbent for Leather/Killing Machine are a bit overrated.

Middle School:
British Steel
Point of Entry
Screaming for Vengeance
Defenders of the Faith

British Steel is arguably Priest's weakest album prior to Turbo.

Tend to agree, but...any 4 Sabbath consecutive albums negates your argument.(Ozzy or Dio albums, not Tony Martin)

How so? Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die are the obvious duds from 1970-83. That prevents either of the Dio records from being able to be included in such a discussion, and it also puts a damper on including Sabotage and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Calm down Steve, you are hopped up on Metallica and saying silly stuff.

I like Metallica and MD and the difference probably lies with individual taste, two great bodies of work
