re: COP let me off with a warning: no bribe or sexual favors

I have never received a warning from a cop and I'm always 100% cordial and compliant. The last cop who gave me a ticket accused me of evading. All I did was pull into a parking lot and park which was the plan all along. I was looking down at my phone when the cop knocked on my window. He said "nice try evading me, pull over there in front of that gray car". He gave me a ticket for going 51 in a 35 when I'm fairly certain I wasn't speeding. I think he just wanted to give me a ticket because he thought I was ducking the speed trap. The sucky thing about the current system is that if a cop wants to give you a ticket, there's nothing you can do about it. Fighting it is futile. At best it's your word against his. The only way to be sure you don't get a traffic ticket is to not drive. Now when I drive, I don't go 1 mph over the speed limit and I use cruise control as much as possible to ensure that. Also, I come to a complete stop at stop signs, wait 1 second, then proceed, I don't care how many people I piss off.
