Hordor question: Did they attack the Wildings because they saw Jon Snow bring the dragon glass and trying to make peace with the Wildings? Or was it just a coincidence that Jon happened to be there right as winter came? I like to think those horseback ww were spying the whole time and "made" winter come because they didn't like what they saw with the peace talks. And that if they attacked right then they could secure the only known dragon glass. Or it was all just a coincidence?? Hordor out.

It could've been either I guess, but I took it as just being a coincidence. It being a coincidence would lend more to Jon's decision being right to bring the Wildlings back before they are turned into wights.

That one WW didn't know what to think about Jon's Valyrian steel, so I don't think they know enough to know they can be hurt (thus even if they did know there was a bag of dragon glass, they didn't know it was deadly to them).
I think the timing happened because they saw all the empty boats show up. They can't very well command a massive army of dead wildlings if there aren't any dead wildlings around. So they see a shitload gathered together and that's okay. But when the boats show up and they start heading out to those boats, the WW's knew they had to act immediately.

I think they attacked the wildlings because they saw the ships coming into the harbor to take them away. Jon being there was probably just good timing on his part. I want to know if they are going to to go back after the WWs and wights leave so Jon can get the dragonglass. I guess he can go to dragonstone and get some more if not...
