I guess it's probably best to just stay out of that thread altogether. They obviously have a very broad definition of what a spoiler is. I wasn't even the first one to mention R+L=J, a supposed Hodor did. I then asked if that could be discussed, and someone said it had already been brought up in the Hodor threads and was ok to discuss. But when Coco started getting iffy about it I decided to delete because I didn't want what ended up happening with Kosmo going full retard about it.

There is enough of them that don't want theories, so it is best to just not post them. Looks like Nipples is going to drop theories over there just to screw with them anyways, so it's best to not get caught up in that.

It's stupid that r+l=j can't be discussed by hodors by this point. It has been laid on pretty thick at this point. Who Jon snows mother is? Was the first thing Martin asked the writers. At this point it's hard to avoid for anyone that's a fan of the show.

If a show watcher started breaking out howland reed theories or benjen theories that would be a bit different.

The hodor thread has been painful to read for awhile. It is best to just wash your hands clean of it

Things we learned about the Hodor thread a long time ago (and just advise for others):

1) If it's not physically seen on the show, implied or not, they don't want it discussed. This goes all the way back to things as simple as the online HBO accompaniment calling Catelyn's brother The Blackfish (in credits as well) and they complained it was a spoiler because it wasn't explicitly said on the show until the next episode. So until someone comes out and says "Hey Jon Snow's mother is _______" they won't want it discussed.

2) Offering background info like the DVD content is a no-no. Discussing theories that have been established in the books (even if also on the show) is a no-no.

Basically, if you want to discuss anything beyond what is explicitly said on the show, you'll need to do it here. That's just how they want it and it is what it is. Trying to force the issue will do nothing but get you banned.
