El meskal-airline in gonzales, great hole in the wall mexican.

Severely overrated. It's lesser quality than Mi Padres, Casa Maria, and Las Palmas (which should never be your standards when it comes to measuring good Tex-Mex cuisine).

Wut?

El Meskal is nothing like those garbage Tex-Mex places you mentioned. However it is a hole in the wall type of place that serves more authentic style Mexican food. Maybe you don't know the difference.

Not only no, but hell no.

Why does everyone obsess over that place's bland chicken? Just because it's locally-owned doesn't mean you have to support it
.

Authentic my arse. Go to La Tiendita or La Reyna in Baton Rouge (Central American but still authentic) for the real stuff.

But whether you call it authentic or not, that doesn't change the fact that it's still not all that good.

I'm dead serious. Please tell me what makes Leader's any better than most diners, restaurants, or country buffets around.
