Everything said is pretty much right, including the vindictiveness with which the dead were buried there.
Got to be the greatest backfire, or "reverse scald" in the history of the world.....
The union powers say "Hey, lets bury all the dead troops here, and desecrate the grounds of General Lee", when in reality, they should have said "hey, lets create the most revered ground in the country."
