For the two guys who seem to hate this film, and well versed in astrophysics, how would you make this film "not boring"? Im sure if every element of the film was scientifically sound, it would be unbelievably boring IMHO. Better yet, it probably wouldnt have been made. If you didnt get the memo, movies are for entertainment, and not necessarily for accuracy. To suspend your imagination. To make you think about "what if". To get you interested in the topic, and so forth. This movie does those things. If you missed it, the forum has had some great discussions about this film. Sure, some movies try to get it as close as possible, and this film has had some well renowned scientists praise its attempt at doing so. In a lot of cases, movie accuracy isnt what's always the most entertaining. Take Braveheart for example. Its historically very inaccurate, but its one of my favorite films. Still didnt make me like it any less, yet, I did go to Scotland to see the battlefields, his memorial, and do more research to find out the true story of it all. Im not here to bash you. I could care less what you think is a good or bad movie. Everyone has their own opinions, but I am interested in how you would make this particular movie more entertaining.
