What's not to get? He is unbelievably bad at defense. It's an incredible liability. He's 467th out of 472 players in defensive real plus minus. Last year, he was 70th out of 75 power forwards. They guys behind him played around 20 minutes a game or so. He played 36. You just can't have somebody that bad on defense on the court in the NBA for that many minutes and expect your defense to not totally suck.

Defense is equally as important as offense. He's not a below average defensive player like a lot of people seem to think. He is one of the worst, if not the worst, defender in the league. Certainly the worst playing meaningful minutes on a competitive team. It's just too hard to have our offensive efficiency high enough to make up for the points he inevitably bleeds, even with the nice spacing he provides.
