Yeah, while Nintendo had some of the greatest games of all time on the 64, they should have gone with the disk and let Sony in on it. Nintendo created their own worst enemy.

Nintendo had the habit of pissing people off back then and that's one that didn't work out well for them

Yes, I agree, but Nintendo wanted licensing rights...so did Sony. Phillips didn't care. They simply wanted to be in some type of partnership with Nintendo. By the time it was nearly ironed out with Phillips, Sega's CD was not doing well. Nintendo then said screw the CD and walked away. Phillips fell apart; Sony accomplished great things. Nintendo saw their mistake....years after the fact.
