Meh double standard. Guys are taught from a very young age that collecting notches on their bed post is a desirable trait, so a 16 year old boy fricking a full grown woman who should know better is treated different from a 16 year old girl banging a full grown man.

It's true that most 16 year boys would frick anything with a hole. But there's still a problem though with teachers (male or female) who do this. What if there's a pregnancy? Not to mention the abuse of public trust issues.
I don't know what the "proper" sentence is but the penalties should be significant whatever they are.
