re: Toho is making a Godzilla movie for 2016

The new godzilla used the exact same formula of all Toho films.
Something happens. Scientist explain the event. Monsters show up and tear crap up. Godzilla shows up. Loses in the first fight. Scientist tell the military how to help. Military fails. Godzilla fights again and kicks arse.
The new movie was fine as an old school monster movie. Same people who hated too much action from Superman whined about not enough action from Godzilla.
My only problem was the sappy disneyfied family hour from the kid being saved in the train and immediately reunited with his parents to the hero immediately being reunited with his family at the end.
The plot was a bit clunky especially the missiles used to attracted the mutos but as an old school Godzilla movie, I had fun with it.
