Also try bringing your water to a rolling boil before adding the seasoning then immediately add crawfish, keeps from loosing your seasoning in the steam
I guess steam carries salt now?
It's amazing the amount of physics that crawfish seems to bend

Salt, no, but go put your face on top of a boling pot of seasoned water and tell me it ain't carrying away seasoning
