1990 - 2015

Had this conversation over quiz game. No set criteria, mostly based on subjective opinion. I suppose that having some work relevant in each decade would be important.

Thoughts?

Tool, AIC, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, RHCP, Pearl Jam, RATM and Smashing Pumpkins are what I listen to for this category, mainly.

For my money - Tool and AIC are probably at the top.

No such thing as a true, objective best. My favorite is Modest Mouse.

Foo Fighters has been the most consistently good throughout that time period.

Nirvana was the most influential, but they didn't last all that long.

Pearl Jam is a solid nominee as they burned hot and fast in the 90s, but have been able to innovate and reinvent themselves in the 2010s.

Foo Fighters. If Weiland could get off the smack STP would be very close 2nd.

Personal favorites would be Our Lady Peace and Anberlin
