Domestic fans aren't going to stop consuming the product over it, therefore their opinion is irrelevant.

There's also no legitimate reason to be against it other than jingoism.

You don't think the Jaguars fans have a reason to be against it?

What about fans of other teams that don't want to travel overseas to watch their teams at away games? Not a legitimate reason to be against it?

I kinda disagree.

One of the main reasons for the popularity of the sport is that it is uniquely American and something that singularly binds the country because of that. If it becomes another international sport, that will be lost to a degree.

Now, that doesn't mean they will be making a poor decisions from a revenue standpoint, but it absolutely will diminish the popularly in the US
