We are on pace for about 55-60 HRs. About what PM and many here expected.

so, more home runs ...but less home runs with runners on?

Guess we really haven't seen the lack of run impact because our offense is ridiculously good this year. 5% seems like nothing (which well, it kinda is).
Our run production is up from 6.25 to 7.45 runs per game which is almost a 20% increase

Surprised the runs per game isn't a higher %. Any thoughts on why that is?

Honestly the % increases probably arent statistically significant. There are so many other things that could affect those numbers by those small percentages...
Runs up 5%... Maybe there were more games played in the south this year where it was warmer.
Batting average up 0.37%... Really? That is nothing. Zero significance.
The 39% homeruns is the only significant number, but is it really? Weren't homeruns down to like .5 per game? So congrats on the .7 homeruns per game now! Super improvement.
LSU fans act like the balls are so much better because our batters are much better. That's the only reason.
Personally I think they still need to go back to the bats of a few years ago.

Now I understand why CPM doesn't want to bunt

Is it measuring against last year at the midpoint or what. If it's measuring for on pace it can be misleading because teams are only 3-4 weeks in conference play. They have mostly played scratch games, but that's really cool if so. It countering the newer bats that hurt the hitters' power
