Supposedly, Tiger shot a worst-ball 66 at his home course during Masters prep

If that's true, then that is absolutely ridiculous

This is according to Rosaforte, and it happened last week at Tigers home course, Medalist

It was submitted March 31, so hopefully it's not some dumb joke

Yeah, too bad he's not very familiar with Augusta

I heard him talking about that yesterday, and if true that is a completely absurd round. Tripp Isenhouer made a pretty decent point yesterday saying that playing at home is one thing, but when you're just short of the green on the 2nd hole with a tight pitch in front of the massive crowd it's a completely different thing. I don't care if he wins, but watching such a talented golfer and legend of the sport with the yips is really hard to watch.

True, but nobody is hoping I'm going to play in the Masters next week.

Golf is better with Tiger playing well! Whether you like it or not!

Yeah, might wanna pump the brakes

I hope he at least looks respectable out there so people may still think he can complete a tourney uninjured

I hope he wins every single tournament he's in until he retires.

Golf was better when Tiger Woods was dominant.

Kind of. Golf is certainly better for entertainment purposes when there are multiple top players playing well. It's not better when we get 80% of the coverage on Tiger, regardless of what he's doing. I know why they do that, but it doesn't make golf better.

Wow. That is insanely impressive. I would love to see Tiger absolutely kick arse.. If Tiger was in the contention on Sunday, it would be the most viewed golf day ever.

Give me one Tiger vs. Rory duel on Sunday in a major and I'll die a happy man.

Eta: well I'll die happier if the Dawgs win a natty and I get married, but I can't get too greedy

Feels like the media trying to drum up some excitement for the Masters. Not that the Masters needs it necessarily, but everyone knows viewership goes way up when Tiger is playing and even more so if he's playing well.

I'd love to see him play well but how many times have we heard this type of story over the past several years.
