The team next year could have been really special if he returned, but now, and I hate to say it, we desperately need Malone or Robinson III to really step it up to have that 3rd big man in the rotation. I'd hate to see Victor and Simmons as our only viable front court options. Maybe we strike gold in Ray Kasongo, but I doubt he'll be much better than what we already have.

I think one of the three (Robinson, Malone, Epps) could easily step up. Epps is the wildcard in this race... He would have some of the same difficulties as Mickey trying to guard thicker guys, but his athleticism could be a real asset down low. He could easily transition down low to get more PT next year because I don't think he gets any time on the perimeter with the players we have coming in.
