Here's my thoughts:
1) Put the kids in the stern...the bow will move up and down much more violently and they won't be able to keep their balance.
2) Kids are harder to keep hydrated so they need to be drinking a lot of water and/or gatorade
3) Kids need to have life jackets on at all times
4) Dads with kids need to think about wearing a life jacket or kill switch...you don't want something that happens to you to in turn happen to your kids.
5) Don't take them if there's no shade on the boat...really hard to keep them cool and bad for skin both now and later in life.
6) watch those fingers getting injured by fishing line, knives, hooks, etc.
Generally speaking, offshore boats are a nightmare zone for kids, especially small kids, and most of the fish are too big for them to fight anyway. they don't have the stamina that an adult does and you don't want them to be miserable or they won't ever want to go again. Good luck!
