I've been looking to get Surfaces for our salesmen and installers so they can be connected to our internal inventory/ordering/scheduling server, but the price has held me back a little. Wouldn't be much to buy our 4 salesmen a surface pro, but to buy them for all of our install trucks would be quite a bit more. $300 adds up pretty quickly. Saving that much means I get a top of the line Surface Pro for myself instead of a base Surface 3 like the rest of the plebes 
As for the keyboard thing, most of the ones I'd be buying wouldn't need a keyboard. The salesmen would need one, but the installers wouldn't need one.

Out of curiosity, why not Androids or iOS Minis?
