I had the Grilled Cheese restaurant idea in college.

Doesn't take a genius to make an awesome grilled cheese. I don't see the business model surviving.

Ate at a Tom & Chee for the first time last night. Just opened up this past weekend. It was ok. Nothing to brag about.

If it was just grilled cheese, I would agree, but some of the grilled cheese sandwiches sound pretty awesome. A grilled cheese place just opened last month a few blocks from where I live. Here is the list of grilled cheese sandwiches they offer. Perfect for lunch...

Zeeks Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

The Classic
Made with American cheese-just like mom made

The Classic Supreme
Provolone, Tillamook cheddar, and Manchego,

Oregon
Hood River pears, Gorgonzola, Brie, and bacon caramelized onion jam

Cuban(new)
Slow cooked pork in citrus, house made pickles, banana pepper, mustard, and Dill Havarti cheese

Sofrito Pot Roast
Slow cooked natural local beef, Manchego cheese, and sofrito(roasted pepper and onion relish)

Canard
Duck confit, brie cheese, bacon caramelized onion jam

Cio
Pomodoricio tomatoes(semi-dried Italian tomatoes), fresh mozzarella, basil, balsamic reduction, and black pepper

Cruz
Slow cooked beef, roasted tomato salsa, Tillamook cheddar, house pickled onions, Mexican crème, and avocado
