What time do yall kids wake up if they're going to bed at 7:30? And who eats supper at 5:30?
We're barely home at 5:30, much less have supper cooked.
Our afternoons are usually: play outside til the misquitos come out, eat supper between 6:30 and 7:30 (when it's finished cooking), baths around 8-830, read/tv/play til 9 or 10 or whenever they crash. I rather stay up late than have them up at 5 or 6 am daily.

Yeah I'm with you on this. Who really eats at 5:30?? I have a 2 year old and when I get home we play until around 6. Dinner time around 6-6:30. Bath time, read, maybe play, and in bed by 8-8:30 if she's not wired.
In bed by 7 seems a little extreme.
