I have the gensis 330 special edition. Nothing that special about it other than you get enamel shell and stainless grates. So yes, stainless grates were much preferable to me.

Take a look at the Weber Spirit three-burner models. They go for $500 and up, depending on options.

My Weber is 14 years old and I'd equivalent to the Weber Genesis. I would say it's worth the extra cost. Also starts up right away. I never expected it to last this long. When I did buy it the guy recommended I get a Weber fitted cover and I did. That has helped it last this long.
