K, maybe I should have clarified. I received a $300 gas grill as a gift. It came from Lowe's. I'm returning it and paying more for something larger.

Not going over $600. Period.

A weber would be great but an $800 weber isn't even large enough for my needs, so weber is right out.

I was really hoping if someone could just tell me if that Dyna-Glo would be worth the extra money or if I should just get the Char-Broil and plan on it lasting 4 or 5 years and have to buy another one.

Look at the diff in BTU of the choices you posted. At that surface area of course you get the one that is 75% more capable.
