Wife is Presbyterian, I was raised attending a southern baptist church. Having said that I appear to be backslidden and she is a regular participant. We have a child that goes to church with her every Sunday, I on the other hand continue in my heathen ways and mostly do not attend.
My thoughts are that she can choose whatever she want as who am I to try to convert her to a denomination that I basically never attend. Same thoughts on child, allow child to be introduced and let the decision on choosing the denomination be independent.
I do have a few rubs against the group recital of various prayers, makes me think they are all sheeple and I don't participate in such when attending but, not so much of a deal that I restrict child's attendance.
Both believe in God and heaven, the rest can sort itself out.
