Had a family friend who passed recently. Was a scout for the Cowboys in the 70s. his descriptions of joe Namath make you sound foolish. Namath would absolutely destroy this league today. He had the one receiver who just ran go routes and deep posts. 4,000 yard season and you want to call him overrated? Namath isn't a guy with career numbers. Rip up Aaron Rodgers' knees, bruise up his ribs in perpetuity and stick him in the 1960s and 70s AFL/NFL, and get back to me.

You hear all of these guys today complaining about concussions and injuries. They're playing 2 hand touch relative to the NFL Namath played in
