I think this is what i sort of figured out. He seems good at telling folks what they want to hear. He is a nice guy, though, so it's hard to get pissed at him.

According to their website, Martin Wine Cellar's Mandeville location still has some in stock.
They had it on tap at yesterday's Brooklyn Mash "State of Craft Beer" event at NOLA Brewing.
