Pete is perhaps the best DL coach we've ever had (Karl Dunbar in the mix too).

Pete may have quit when working here for Saban. I happened to be watching the sidelines with my binoculars when Saban got in Petes face for whatever he was displeased for. I felt bad for Pete and he wasn't there the next year if my memory serves me right. Saban had a knack of getting in coaches faces and embarrassing then. Kind of like letting people know it wasn't his own fault.
