how is it out of whack? he isn't being punished. he is being put on the watch list due to a positive test. seems pretty tame to me. if he continues to show disrespect for the rules, then he will incur further punishment, each one more severe than the last. I guess you are one of those really cool rebels that says frick authority, they don't tell me what to do. Well shite, bra, if you dislike society and a set of rules so much, I'm sure there's a nice tree in the Amazon that you can call your home. I promise you, the only rules you have to follow are the rules of the land. Good luck with that

One guy loses an entire year of his career and doesn't get to accumulate a year to free agency because he smoked weed
Another guy beats his wife and get a 2 game suspension
Another guy gets a year long paid (for 13 mil) suspension, gets to hit free agency, pays off his accuser, and gets another 13 million dollar contract for his troubles
THAT is out of whack
ETA and I haven't said a word about alcohol so I don't know where you're getting that
