It's a large diesel, not a smaller gas one. We tried multiple times following the instructions given to us. Hooking up to the F1 and F2 prongs on the voltage regulator to a battery and flashing it. It still not producing the voltage.

A few years ago the windings burned up and we had them reworked. We had to have this done back then. The person that came out to excite it died awhile back so that leaves me a little helpless right now. I know he just hooked something up and touched the battery a few times until it started producing. Didn't pay that much attention to what he was doing, because I wasn't thinking at the time to pay attention.
