Not as bad as panama, though. I've had friends leave PC and couldn't clear the waves, resulting in the entire cockpit going underwater, in a 55" boat. Basically, the bow couldn't clear the wave and the boat fell backwards down the wave. It's very rare out of Destin.

Maybe...not getting in a peter measuring contest because both can be bad. I have been on a 64 Viking scared to death heading in to Destin pass. Heavy outgoing tide with a 25 mph wind out of the south results in a high pucker factor.

I don't have experience with PCB pass.
