what about jewelry containing ashes of the deceased? my fil died not too long ago and someone thought it was a good idea to have a bunch of lockets made up with some of the ashes, my wife received hers a couple of days ago, I thinks it's morbid and tacky, of course I kept those thoughts to myself

Saw an epidose of Law and Order where this lady would have her husbands cremated and their ashes turned into diamonds.

HAH! After my good friend in CA passed away, his wife gave me some of his ashes. Kept that jar in my desk drawer until I got the idea to call my potter friend. He made some beautiful coffee cups, using my pal for the glaze. I drink from it every morning. My wife won't even let me keep it in the kitchen cabinet...doen't want it touching other cups.
