Coughlin at 3 is a huge fricking joke.

He's got a very specific way of doing things, but he is a good coach. You don't have to pace up and down the sidelines, scream like a lunatic like the Penguin of Seattle to be a good coach. He's got a fantastic post-season record, which is a pretty good indicator that he is a good coach. The season they pulled together in 2011 was no joke. Going to Green Bay and beating them like they did, then going to San Fran to pull away an OT win is no small feat. For an underdog to go from last to first takes all facets of a team working flawlessly, including coaching.

I also respect Michael Strahan's high opinion of Tom as a coach.

Couldn't agree more.

Coughlin coached the most successful expansion team in NFL history. In his stay in Jacksonville, he took them to the AFC Championship game twice. He averaged 10 wins a season his first 5 years with the Jaguars...an unheard of accomplishment.

He's won 2 Superbowls with the Giants.

And he's a joke?

Tom gets no love. Probably the most under rated and under talked about coach in the NFL.

How's jax doing these days?

The talking heads all think he's some kind of cute coaching dinosaur.
