The show blew my expectations away. The recordings from earlier shows didn't do any justice. I was expecting it to be more mellow but it fricking rocked

Kicked it with the band for a bit. Luther is so in touch with music it is insane. Dude lives and breathes it. He kept grooving and humming just in conversation. We talked about how interesting of a project The Word is. He also gave lots of love for The Joy as a venue. Really excited for that show next month.

What an awesome show. Great energy the whole night. The crowd was just right, aside from a few Nola custies.

Luther is a bad, bad man on the guitar. I loved his work all night. The AOB section was really strong, especially with the sit-ins. The sax was nice touch on all the songs, very complimentary. It gave Burning On The Inside a unique groove. Anders sung his arse off for Back On Dumaine. The NMA sections were great.
