apparently he's going to be allowed to start his sentence in federal prison which while no doubt harsh is a far far cry from Angola
the more that comes out about this the better the deal looks. The St. Bernard cop and the scumbag accomplice in the crimes here are looking at much worse sentences than is sharper

Why would they send him to Angola?

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather not be in prison, but, if I had to be in prison for 10+ years in Louisiana, I'd probably request Angola.
