Nah you can do the USBOAT.org class for free.
The Date of requirement is bullshite. I was born a few days after the cutoff date. So why do i "have" to take a course yet someone a few weeks older than me who has never driven a boat doesnt have to.
Also, i have been pulled over multiple times in the past years after this was implemented and only once was i asked if i had taken a boating course, and this was by the super friendly and professional coast guard.
The assfrick sheriff boats that have pulled me over has been the same old story. "You been drinkin? Looks like you been drinkin"

Thanks. I need to do that. I was just going to risk it until I got a ticket because I didn't want to pay the money.
